A third-party logistics provider in Industry City is using humanoid robots to fulfill ecommerce orders. According to the company, “the robots can run 24 hours a day without breaks and handle up to 30% of the pick, tote, scan and conveyor process that moves an order from shelf to shipment.”
Muji is coming to Downtown Brooklyn, across from the Apple store.

Frø Bakehouse in Red Hook is hosting a Summer Smørrebrød Series, featuring five chefs’ original takes on the open-faced sandwich. The next installment will be tomorrow, Aug. 8 and Sunday, Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until they sell out.
