High Beam Picks Up Where East One Coffee Roasters Left Off
Former East One director Selina Ullrich brings a new roastery and cafe to Red Hook and Carroll Gardens, carrying forward the spirit of the beloved neighborhood spot.
A former East One Coffee Roasters employee is opening a neighborhood roastery and cafe that aims to revive the welcoming spirit the shop once brought to the community.
Selina Ullrich, who ran retail and wholesale operations at East One, is opening High Beam, a Red Hook roastery and cafe with a second cafe on Court Street, where Local Roots used to be. High Beam will soft-open on Nov. 24 at 369 Van Brunt Street, two blocks south of Red Hook Tavern. The Court Street location is expected to open by year end.
