What started as a text thread about Court Street Steaks (RIP) turned into a blog about Carroll Gardens.

Court Street Journal is a blog publishing news and features about Carroll Gardens and its surrounding neighborhoods, including Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Red Hook and Gowanus. CSJ was created by Alexa Tietjen, a former beauty editor at WWD, the fashion industry trade publication. Alexa lives in Carroll Gardens with her partner Lance and Bissli, their one-year-old toy Goldendoodle.
